Through the Electronics Resources CD-ROM, students explore the properties of electronic devices and learn simple laws of electricity. Resistors, batteries, fuses, capacitors, and speakers, among other components, are illustrated, dissected and animated to help clarify how they work and how they function in electronic devices. Students can dissect different electronic devices to view how the different components are used. Students can explore an atom and take it apart. The relationship of atomic structure to electricity is illustrated in many detailed animations. This CD-ROM is intimately tied to the FOSS Electronics Middle School module.
