The Hands-On Universe Explorer CD-ROM is part of HOU's Informal Science Education program. Students are asked to assemble a new telescope by collecting pieces at the end of each successful mission. Missions include planets, stars, supernovas, galaxies and space exploration. Students will find this program to be entertaining as well as challenging. Sirius the dog guides them along the way to ensure they can accomplish the mission they have started.
